Arborists, foresters, and other tree-care professionals are invited to a workshop hosted by the Ottawa and Muskegon Conservation Districts. Speakers from the Conservation Districts and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources will present on effective treatments for hemlock trees infested with Hemlock Woolly Adelgid (HWA). This workshop aims to help the private sector become more familiar with treatment methods as landowner interest in HWA treatments increases.

Continuing education credits will be available for Certified Pesticide Applicators in Commercial CORE, Forestry, Right-of-Way, and Ornamental categories. This event will take place from 9 AM until noon.
