The general public is invited to attend an educational workshop hosted by the West Michigan CISMA in partnership with the Ottawa Conservation District and the Ottawa County Parks and Recreation Commission. This event will provide participants with an in-depth look at common woody invasive species found in the region. Attendees will learn how to accurately identify these species, understand the ecological and economic impacts they can have on local landscapes, and explore a variety of effective treatment and management strategies. This workshop is designed to support landowners, community members, and anyone interested in protecting West Michigan’s natural resources.
