We are currently operating in partnership with Groundswell to create Meaningful Watershed Education Experiences for students in the Grand Haven Public School System. To do this, our staff have been working to develop outdoor education curriculum and lesson plans to help teachers and students learn more about their watersheds. Our hope is students will be able to learn at their own pace while developing stewardship action projects to help improve water quality where they live.
All curriculum and materials developed through this grant will be publicly available for download through our website when the project ends in July. They will also be posted to Groundswell’s website. **COMING SOON**
If you’d like to hear teacher’s thoughts on how these materials can assist in outdoor education, please watch this webinar hosted by Groundswell by clicking here.
